Everyone always talks about how this artist is better than that one. So-n-so is shit and what’s-his-face is the best rapper alive. Blah, blah, blah. Truth is, no musician is better than another. Simply because what music YOU think is best is based on YOUR opinion. So before you criticize someone on what music they like, realize that it’s their opinion and you shouldn’t try to change it. How would you like it if someone told you the shit you like is stupid ? I know I’d get pissed. Most people don’t change their opinions on something just because someone else thinks it’s stupid though.
When someone says “Drake is the best rapper alive”, that’s not based on fact, it’s solely based on their opinion. Someone else will say “Drake is shit, Rick Ross is the best”. or “Wacka Flocka is the best rapper” when the person down the line will say “Rap music sucks, classical is where it’s at”. It’s all opinion. When someone says “Chris Brown is the best singer ever”, there’s always someone right behind them to say “Trey Songz is a better singer”. But it’s still an OPINION.
And another thing, stop comparing artists. That doesn’t even make sense. Especially when people compare rappers to singers. Like, come on, they’re two different genres of music. They’re two different crafts. Obviously one is better than another at that one genre. People are just stupid. But then again, that’s my opinion. ;)
Why is that such a big issue ? It confuses and bothers me. I really don’t understand why so many people oppose it. How can you take someones right to get married away ? Because they’re marrying the same sex they are ? So fucking what. Do people think all the gays are gonna band together and attack straight people until they turn gay or something ? Like come on.
I really don’t get why it’s a huge deal. That’s almost like telling biracial couples they can’t get married because they’re different. In which case, I wouldn’t be here. That’s like telling disabled people they can’t do anything because they’re different. It just doesn’t make any sense. The world wants us to treat everyone equally and that’s not the case. Wasn’t the golden rule in kindergarten “Treat others the way you would want to be treated” ? Bullshit. No one does that. And it’s pathetic. Maybe we should all go back to kindergarten where shit made sense and we were all nice to each other. Fuck society.
It’s really sickening to get online everyday and see blog posts about Chris Brown and Rihanna. Like that have anything to do with each other anymore. First of all, THEY DON’T. Second of all, people need to stop making them out the be an item still. They broke up over 3 years ago. They haven’t been an item sense. GET OVER IT. Just because Rihanna makes a love song about how she misses someone doesn’t mean it’s about Chris. And just because Chris makes a song about his “ex” doesn’t mean it’s about Rihanna.
You know, she’s not the only girl he’s ever dated. He’s had a few before and after her. So there’s no telling who he’s really talking about in that song. And there’s no telling that he’s even talking about anyone in general in that song. IT’S A FUCKING SONG. People talk about random shit in songs all the time. So if every line in a song is true does that mean Lil Wayne can actually gonna “pick the world up and drop it on your fucking head” ? No. But with the way some of you think about lyrics being true, he should. Yes, there are some songs out there that tell stories and their lyrics are real. But shit like that ain’t true.
But most of the time, when Rihanna says something about an ex or anything like that, it’s just because she’s “writing a song”. There have been a couple tweets like that lately. “It’s just a song. Rihanna is just expressing herself”. But when Chris does it, he’s automatically talking about someone. I just don’t get it.
And Rihanna always playing the “victim” in everything is getting old. Not saying that she isn’t sometimes because there have been times where she’s had to defend herself. But come on, most of the shit that happens involving her “isn’t her fault”. Whether she claims it’s not or the media does, either way, it’s NEVER her fault. And frankly, most of the time it is. And I’m not here to preach about the incident so if you’ve got something to say about that, you can message me. That’s a different story for a different day.
And yes, Rihanna is the “good girl gone bad”. But guess what, it’s called GROWING UP. Did you expect her to stay an innocent little girl telling the DJ to “Pon De Replay” for the rest of her life ? Come on, now. You know what it is ? People haven’t grown up themselves and matured enough to see that they have. And they really need to do that.
All I’m trying to say is, people need to get off Chris’ dick. Everything is always his fault. Nothing he does is right in anyone’s eyes anymore. He could save 15 orphans and a dog from a burning building and someone would bitch and complain because the kids have smoke inhalation. Nothing is ever good enough and I’m sick of it. He’s not the man he was 3 years ago and that’s very clear. He’s grown up. He’s turned into an amazing young man with the potential and drive to go extremely far, and he will. But NO ONE will allow that because they’re too stuck on the “bad boy image” he used to have. Grow a pair, shut the fuck up and leave Chris Brown and Rihanna ALONE.
